United Way is a recognized leader in building community partnerships and promoting long-term solutions for local health and social needs. By focusing sharply on community impact, United Way works to promote and sustain the well being of everyone in our community through a network of agencies in Perth and Huron County. United Way provides funding to programs that support a broad range of health and social issues right here in our communities. It's our job to make sure your gift gets to the people who need it most, ensuring that each dollar makes the most impact in improving the quality of life in our common region. Combining the gifts of all our donors ensure that a comprehensive network of programs and services are available for people when they need them.
All programs and services supported through the United Way Community Care Fund are reviewed to ensure they are needed, effective and efficient. United Way Of Perth-Huron is committed to ensuring that donor dollars are distributed where they are needed the most. We are a resource to the entire community of Perth and Huron County, responding to new and urgent needs. United Way's mission is to increase the organized capacity of people to care for one another.
Today, funded agencies are experiencing record demands for their services and are facing the challenge of continually emerging needs. With government cutbacks, an aging population, more single parent families, physical and psychological problems and physical abuse confronting many of our neighbors, the United Way helps to build a strong foundation of programs and services to meet the increasing needs of our community.
